Herbert and Winifred at the time of their marriage in 1901

By 1908 the family was established, with three children and no more on the way. By this time Herbert was nearing retirement age!

Wynne in her garden in 1911. She was a very keen gardener, and at Farnham at last had a garden she could work with. The family were very happy here. They are seen below, without Baby, in the same garden...Wynne is carrying her camera - she had become an avid photographer, often developing the negatives herself and doing her own printing.
